Hillhead Baptist Church exists to honour God by being an open and inclusive community that enables people to question and discover for themselves what it might mean to be a follower of Jesus.

Many of our members live in the West End within walking distance of the various places that we have gathered and met together for more than 140 years. Others come from elsewhere in Glasgow and the surrounding conurbation. Some live far away but have chosen to become covenanted members of our church because of our open and affirming ethos.

We are a small congregation but include people of all ages, from 0 to 98 and in every decade in between. Many nationalities and cultures are represented in our church: we currently have 11 languages.

Our church is about people in community together and reflects the diversity of people living in the West End of Glasgow.
